Baan Haad Yao Villas was opened in the spring of 2009 with some thirty large villas available for rent. There is air-con, tv, satellite and fan cooling in each bungalow. Family bungalows catering for up to five people are also available.

Sandy Bay Bungalows

Sandy Bay Bungalows are located with an extensive beachfront towards the southern edge of Haad Yao beach. With some forty bungalows onsite Sandy Bay offer accommodation for all budgets with both fan and aircon options available. The luxury beachfront range have prime positioning and there are ocean view bungalows as the resort climbs the hill. The swimming pool and restaurant are located beachfront with the local dive school just yards away.

Lucky Resort

Lucky Resort are found between Haad Yao and Haad Salaad with a a range of nine different styles of bungalow that are positioned from the beachfront to the top of the hill. The creative designs include tree bungalows that are made like fallen logs, stone bungalows on the sea front and cut into the granite rocks with a balcony that over hangs the ocean and seaview bungalows on giant stilts that dominate the beach area. A wonderland of accommodation choice with a many activities on offer and equidistant from the larger beaches of Haad Yao and Haad Salaad.

Haad Yao Resort

Haad Yao Resort provide a range of spacious hotel rooms on the beach at Haad Yao and villas just behind the hotel on the hillside overlooking the bay. The villas have a single bedroom, ensuite bathroom facilities, internet cable and a separate living area with access to the large covered balcony. The hotel rooms are on two floors, have ensuite facilities and a private balcony with a choice of aircon or fan cooling. The villas are available on a short term or a long term basis as houses for rent.

Haad Yao Villa

Haad Yao Villa have a selection of villas, hotel rooms and bungalows in the liveliest part of Haad Yao beach. There are a wide variety of different room styles available accommodating from one to six guests in the units which have up to two bedrooms and are ideal for friends and families that wish to share. The swimming pool is on the beachfront with the restaurant and cocktail bar closeby. This is a very sociable area as the neighbouring hotels are part of the same family and so at night there are a selection of bars and bbq's to choose from - all within a few yards of the hotel.

Shiralea Backpackers Resort

Shiralea Backpackers Resort provide budget accommodation that is also quality accommodation. The coconut wood bungalows are recent additions at Haad Yao and have ensuite bathroom facilies, hot water a balcony with hammock plus a choice of aircon or fan cooling. Each bungalow can hold up to two extra beds and a four guest maximum. The bamboo bungalow range will be launched in August of 2010 and will provide a range of slightly smaller bungalows with cold shower and fan cooling. The swimming pool is the focal point of Shiralea with the restaurant and bar set just behind and the bungalows are dotted throughout the leafy coconut palms over the gently sloping hillside.

Chef Tummy's Thai Cooking School is based at Haadlad Resort on Haad Salad beach. It is perhaps Thailands only ocean view cooking school with panoramic views of the beach. The classes are morning and afternoon including an overview of Thai cooking, market trip and practical cooking experience. Each trainee Chef has their own wok and workstation allowing full participation in this cooking experience. Order of the Thai Chillie certificates are awared to students that make the grade.
